Healing in the forest

As a Play BIGGER Coach, my role is to bring the truth to my clients.  For many of them, it has been too easy to hide from what’s really going on in their noisy day to day lives.  And when their emotions bubble up, they are quick to numb them with food, wine, activities, holidays, etc.

At some point, they realise they can’t, and don’t want to, do this any more.  Because there is value in that pain.  It directs us away from what we don’t want, what depletes us, and towards what we do want.

Sometimes we believe we are submerged in a kind of fog, and we think we can’t see the way forward.  But the fog is actually composed of the noise that we have invited in to our lives to distract us from what we really need to change.  The pain shows us the way IF we have help in putting that pain into perspective.

I help my private clients do this with great success.  And I also need help to do it for me.  Part of my own routine is taking time away from the noise.  Immersing myself in my own company, my emotions, my thoughts, my beliefs and deciding which I will leverage to move me forward and which I will release to clear my path.

If you don’t have these skills, then finding the easier route can be a struggle.  For many, it is just too much effort, and they aren’t willing to struggle to mend the struggle!  The irony is, you don’t need to, if you have support and guidance from someone who does it for a living and has been there too.

Personally, I think there is healing available in the forest.  Where it is peaceful, calm, where the pace slows, and where resistance to new ideas subsides.  This is where I replenish, and I have now developed a series of day retreats and workshops to support my clients get deeper results in the very same environment.

If you are ready to give up the struggle, would benefit from a break from your busy life, and want absolute clarity about where to focus your time and energy so you get what YOU want from life, then this is for you.  It’s also a great way to see if private coaching is something you want to explore further.
